Satsang at Sri Maharaj's Mandir at Vidurashwatha(6-11-2011)
Chintamani Sri Mandir devotees visited Sri Brahmachaithanya Mandir at Vidurashwatha. A Satsang was arranged mainly due to the initiative of Sri Srikanth and Sri Ramachandra Sharma.More than a hundred devotees from Chintamani and Bangalore,lead by Sri G.H. Venkatesh Murthy, visited the Satsang. The arrangements for the Satsang with Maha -Prasad was made by the Vidurashwatha Mandir trustees led by Sri Venkatesha Prasanna. Chintamani mandir devotees were first received at the famous Vidurashwatha temple and after the darshan of Sri Ashwatha narayana Swamy, the assembled devotees went in a procession, with Utsav of Sri Ram and Sri Maharaj to Sri Maharaj's Mandir. Bhajans, Japanushtaan and pooja were conducted with devotion.. A few pictures..........
The original Padukas of Sri Mahraj given to Sri Venkata ramana das,in 1885, who established the Mandir in Vidurashwatha in 1930.He was also given a silver rupee coin by Sri Maharaj, which is preserved.

Navarathri Programmes-2011
Chintamani Mandir celebrated the Navarathri with the usual Japanushthans, Bhajans, Sri Valmiki Ramayana and Sri Tulasidas's Rama charitha Manas readings, and lectures and Music performances in the evenings.On Maha Navami day, Sri Sita Kalyanotsava was performed and on Vijaya dashami day, Sri Rama Pattabhisheka mahaotsava was performed and Mahaprasad was offered to all the assembled devotees. In the evening, Prakarotsav was performed and Pooja was conducted to the hand- erected Banni tree, and the leaves were taken and distributed reverentially by the devotees.

Poojya Dr. Appa Athavale
We are sorry to learn of the sad demise of Poojya Dr.Appa Athavale of Pune, who was a great devotee of Sri Brahmachaithanya Maharaj. His service in the development of the Hospital run by the Gondavale Mandir, and many works of the Sri Brahmachaithanya Samsthan may be considered invaluable.
Sri Maharaj has taken him away from us.
